Job Description: Kindergarten Teacher (International School, Suzhou Campus)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our prestigious international school located in Suzhou. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with children aged 2-4, preferably with a background in the Reggio Emilia or other play-based approaches. The successful candidate should hold a bachelor's degree or above in education or teaching. Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the holistic development of children aged 2-4.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans and educational activities, following the principles of the Reggio Emilia or other play-based approaches.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and discover.
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in young children.
- Use various teaching strategies and materials to cater to the individual needs and learning styles of students.
- Assess and monitor the progress of students through ongoing observation, documentation, and evaluation of their developmental milestones.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and participate in school-wide events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment that supports safety and hygiene standards.
- Stay updated on current educational trends, research, and best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with children aged 2-4, preferably within a Reggio Emilia or other play-based approach setting.
- Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for working with young children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to establish routines and maintain discipline while promoting a positive classroom climate.
