Homeroom Teacher Recruitment for IB Kindergarten in Guangzhou, China

Location: Tianhe, Guangzhou, China
Salary: Before tax 28,000 – 32,000 RMB / Month
Working Hours: 7:45am-4:45pm from Monday to Friday
Holiday: Chinese public holidays +1 week of spring vacation+ 2 weeks of winter vacation for Christmas+
2 weeks of Chinese new year holiday +5 to 6 weeks of summer vacation

Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the delivery of the IB curriculum
2. Work together with the Chinese homeroom teacher to manage the class, take care of children, ensure
children’s safety, set up class agreements and help children develop their self-regulation.
4. Responsible for environmental displays, communication with parents, writing reports and the class
newsletters.
5. Assess children’s development and coordinate parent-teacher meetings.
6. Organize or take part in all kindergarten activities and/or any other event including PD days.
7. Help write or proofread English version of kindergarten’s official website’s newsletter, marketing
documents, and other kindergarten documents as necessary or requested.
8. Work professionally with a positive and committed attitude, enhance work synergy and create a high-
performance team.
Requirements:
1. Native English speaker.
2. Be caring and patient with children.
3. Hold a BA degree or higher.
4. Majored in Education with teaching certificate is preferred.
5. Have 2+ years teaching experience with 2.5 to 6 years old children.
