Main Responsibilities

• 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday) with weekends off
• Able to commit to 2 year contract
• Plan lessons and activities that are age-appropriate and captivating
• Be the primary Counsellor for one age-group of pre-schoolers (20 to 22 per class)
• Lead students for the whole day’s learning and playing with one assistant’s support
• Create a warm, lively and safe environment
• Communicate with parents at scheduled venues (interpreter provided)
• Decorate and maintain classroom according to monthly theme
• Organize school events to promote CKC

Compensation

• Excellent salary: starting at 18,000RMB/month (negotiable depending on qualifications and teaching ability)
• 11 days national holiday, 5 days paid personal leave plus 10 – 12 weeks paid holidays
• Assistance finding accommodation
• Legal ‘Z’ work visa
• Basic Medical Insurance provided

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in early childhood development, education or related fields
• TEFL certificate required
• Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
• 2 years teaching experience required
• Desire and able to love, manage and educate young lives
• Hardworking, high energy, and easy-going with adventurous spirit
• Committed to the contract lengths and terms, and determined to be professional
