Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher – Harbin, China
Shape young minds in the heart of winter-wonderland Harbin! Our well-established bilingual kindergarten is looking for a passionate, full-time Homeroom Teacher to join us in August 2025 for a rewarding three-year adventure.
What Your Day Looks Like
• Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (no weekends)
• Teaching Load: Half-day in the classroom; the rest of your time is protected for lesson planning, small-group support and creative play with the children.
Your Mission
• Deliver lively, age-appropriate English lessons that spark curiosity
• Track each child’s growth and share regular updates with parents
• Team up with Chinese co-teachers to create a safe, inclusive and joyful learning space
• Take part in school events, seasonal celebrations and on-going professional development
What You’ll Earn
• Monthly Salary: RMB 22,000 – 27,000 (before tax) – scaled to experience
• Housing Allowance: RMB 2,000/month on top of salary
• Travel Support:
– RMB 5,000 one-way flight reimbursement at contract start and end
– RMB 5,000 round-trip allowance each summer (2026 & 2027)
• End-of-Contract Bonus: One full month’s base salary
• Medical Insurance: Comprehensive international group plan
• Paid School Holidays: ~21 days per academic year, plus all Chinese public holidays
Qualifications
• Native-level English speaker
• Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood or Education preferred)
• 120-hour TEFL / TESOL / teaching license
• At least 1 year of kindergarten classroom experience
• Enthusiastic, caring and ready for real winter snow!
