Job Description
Job Position / Description: International Kindergarten Teacher.
Location: Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia, China. Approx.: 1 hour flight from Hohhot or Beijing. More options available shortly.
Reporting to: Kindergarten leader & Owner/Headmaster - Foreign managed and part owned English Training Centre
Working Week: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 12noon and 2:30pm - 5:10pm. (Summer times 20 minutes later finish.)
Start date and contract length: March 1st 2019 (But prefer earlier start for training and preparation for new semester.) - 12 months contract renewable
Class size and ages:
2-6 years old. Approx.: 15 students per class. Course material provided, with the daily schedule being as follows: 1. Morning meet and greet at the gate. 2. Class caring - working with a Chinese teacher and helper. 3.Teaching simple math (counting and a little intro of + / - / =, but book supplied) English and handicraft, exercising, plus a specialised English class once a week. 4. Afternoon good-bye at the gate. 5. Teacher workshop attendance. 6. Basic communication with parents. 7. Lesson planning required.
Special Requirements:
Native speaker from England, Canada, USA, South Africa, NZ, Australia.
If in China - Original documents, such as CV, 2 x reference letters with company stamps, medical, police clearance check, degree, TEFL or equivalent, 2 years work experience after degree completed. Foreign Expert Card cancellation letter, reference letter and release letter from previous employer. Copy of previous visa and passport with passport photo.
If residing outside China, you will need almost all of the above, except previous employers letters, but nearly all needs to be authenticated, especially the degree, medical, references and police check.
Salary: 12,000 to 16,000 per month, free housing, work visa, contract completion bonus, various incentives throughout the year, linked to the training school, as you would be under our supervision, for ensuring proper management, safety and security. Being a kindergarten, they are open throughout summer but provide a paid month winter vacation, plus Chinese holidays. .
