About the Position
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our early years team in Wuhan starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will be a native English speaker who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and inquiry-based learning environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education best practices
Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
Support students’ English language acquisition through immersive learning experiences
Use play-based and inquiry-led teaching approaches
Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ development and wellbeing
Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow educators to support student learning
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Requirements
Native English speaker (required)
Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field
Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Teaching License, or equivalent preferred)
Minimum 2 years of kindergarten or early years teaching experience
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for working with young children in an international environment
Cross-cultural awareness and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in international schools or bilingual programs
Familiarity with EYFS, IB PYP, Reggio Emilia, or similar early years frameworks
Experience working in China or other international settings
