Reporting directly to the Executive Chef we are currently seeking a Part Time Kitchen Attendant to join the Qantas Lounge by Accor team at the Brisbane Domestic Airport.

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Action cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas and scullery
• Operating dish washing machine as per instruction manual
• General pantry duties and maintaining cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers
• Assisting in the preparation of food as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team
• Ensuring all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current health & hygiene regulations
• Ensuring correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturers instructions.

Whilst technical experience is of important to us, to be considered for the role you will have:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Understanding of food safety requirements
• The ability to work under pressure
• The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, evenings and on weekends, with no visa restrictions.
