Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in English to Korean and Korean to English

2. Enhance communications effectively between colleagues and Korean clients

3. Translate written general and technical documents from English to Korean and Korean to English

4. Ensure translated contents convey original meaning and tone

5. Improve translation quality by understanding and following technical terminology and development standard

6. Assist with other project management responsibilities as assigned

Background:

1. 2+ years of translation experience

2. Verbal and written fluency in English and Korean

3. Verbal and written fluency in Chinese is a plus

4. Be able to leverage resources to ensure appropriate and accurate translations in the domain

5. Converse professionally in formal and informal situations, resolve problems, work with unfamiliar topics, and provide explanations

6. Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing situations

7. Experience in insurance industry is a plus

8. Understanding of system implementation methodology is a plus
