Job Description

Typical Accountabilities:

Communication & Promotion

  • Assists with development of marketing plans, which may include distribution channel solutions, sales activities, and promotional materials for specific therapeutic area or brand.
  • Assists with development of budgets and monitoring of expenses.
  • Tracks and analyzes brand/product and competitive performance and trends
  • Develops materials for the sales force to support effective sales effort and educate sales representatives on company and competitor products
  • Coordinates and/or conducts special studies and promotional projects

Operational Brand Management & Customer Excellence

  • Actively builds the brand strategy by providing customer insights acquired during interactions with external and internal customers
  • Participate in the development of the Business Action Plan in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Ensure full implementation of the operational Business Action Plan in close collaboration with the key functional team members
  • Keep the Business Action Plan updated, implement the plan to ensure that Brand objectives are realized
  • Lead the operational roll-out of the pre-agreed strategic and operational plan (campaign task force, monthly implementation meeting)
  • Identify potential new market insight and collaborate with Market Intelligence to leverage all important market data to refine action plans or to prioritize activities.
  • Develop and understand market research principles/sources/tools/methodology
  • Work with local data to contribute to forecasting models.

Stakeholders management

  • Build relationships with key internal / external clients.
  • Leads Brand Team, developing and implementing plans for KEE development & marketing strategy implementation.
  • Cooperates with sales force, strengthening their capacity to implement business strategy. Though: client field visits with MSRs at regular intervals to gain insight on current and future marketing initiatives and ensure correct product information is delivered, providing training to MSRs on the promotional materials and product strategy, addresses MSRs concerns or questions in regards to brand strategy and promotional materials)
  • Report on the status of implementation of the tactical plan to internal customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Gain insight into market & campaign effectiveness, key stake holder input by ensuring proper time allocation for customer facing interactions (usually > 3 full days with customers including min. 36 field visits per Quarter)

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Essential :

  • Minimum of 5 yrs in Pharmaceutical business
  • Knowledge of relevant therapeutic area (Speciality/Rare disease or Oncology Experience)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (marketing, life science/pharma)
  • Cross-functional cooperation
  • Excellent Interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze data to formulate business plans
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Customer Orientation - making efforts to listen to and understand the customer (both internal and external); anticipating customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
  • Professional and Business Awareness – demonstrates knowledge of the company, customers, products, and the pharmaceutical industry; maintains current knowledge of new trends and developments in one’s profession.

  • For internal applicants- min. 3 yrs in AZ in relevant medical/MA/sales role, with solid & consistent performance
