Job Description
Job Summary Assure Lean and CI Tools implementation. Identify capital projects within the continuous improvement plan in overall product line operations through the implementation of Eaton Lean Six Sigma program to improve productivity and reduce costs. Provide support on leading OPA process for the plant; identify and close and close ELSS deployment gaps and develop a Lean culture. Job Responsibilities Responsible to provide support to work's team in the deployment of CIF and ELSS, Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of Manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence, Support Corporate Lean initiatives and reporting requirements, Develop Lean System strategy and coordinate cross-functional activities to implement the Eaton Lean System in facility base upon Lean assessment, Provide/facilitate site training requirements for the Eaton Lean System, Conduct Lean assessments and identify performance gaps, Utilize Lead tools/facilitate Lean events to drive cost reductions and improve working capital performance and productivity, Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools and facilitate Lean events to improve process capability and eliminate defects, Works directly with employees at all levels in the plant to implement improvements, provide assistance and support to key customers to support their Leam deployment, Maintain and promote internal and external customers focus for all facility employees and improve manufacturing performance through the utilization, training, and deployment of Eaton Lean Tools; Perform benchmarking initiatives to share and implement Lean Best Practices; Participate in ELSS and OpA assessments of other plants; Drive the OPEX strategic vision, and roadmaps for the Plant; provide support to leadership for Eaton Business System Tools and training including EBS Pull, OpA , EBS-A, and other Tools; Drive Cost-Out accountability for the plant including monthly project follow-ups; provide support for Functional Groups at the plant level for kaizens, problem solving, and to ensure EBSS adherence; Liaison with the division and corporate CI champion to ensure alignment and monthly/quarterly/annual standard process and adhoc request; Lead and coordinate OpA processes for the plant: Quarterly/Annual Leadership Review. Assist in plant validated/self-Assessment including submittal to the OpA office and all accountability reviews with Plant OpEx teams; Manage the Leadership System for the plant to drive compliance including EBS Pull, OpA processes, Cost-out and Training; Lead and facilitate structured problem-solving events including Kaizens an RIE's. Qualifications Qualifications Preferred education level: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electromechanical, engineering, or other engineering Science. Preferable master's degree in quality, engineering, projects, administration or other science. Years and area of experience required: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar position. Technical knowledge: Experience using problem solving & six sigma tools, preferable six sigma Green Belt certification or Lean Tool Certified, preferable certified Quality Engineer or ISO internal Auditor. PC knowledge.
