This is an LBL Export Sales Support Manager role, reporting to the Global Integration Manager EPMV/EPES in Business Area – Electrification (EL) located in Xiamen, China.
Your responsibilities
- Adapting and implementing export sales support strategy for designated oversea area and ensuring technical and commercial support for oversea customers.
- Overseeing estimations and bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. Proactively leading, developing and coaching the Export Sales Support team.
- Creating, implementing and reviewing oversea sales support strategy for ELDS CN export business. Defining key targets and ensuring these are achieved for the customer support.
- Overseeing the preparation of proposals through internal and external resources. Ensuring all proposals follow relevant ABB procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements.
- Ensuring competitive offers considering the market situation and customer’s conditions. Identifying which approach (e.g. direct sales, consortium, or channel) can be applied to better serve the customers. Overseeing the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) in each offer.
- Assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation. Supporting bid/no bid analyses and decisions. Participating in project risk review processes.
- Ensuring support to the oversea sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and providing technical support and clarification as needed.
- Ensuring the whole team is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed and coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Your background
- Must have B.Sc. or above degree in electrical, mechanical or engineering.
- More than 10 years of experience in managerial positions, in marketing & Sales, engineering or product management related field.
- Must be familiar with ELDS CN products.
- Must have experience in cross-selling across solutions, products and service categories is an advantage.
- Must have strong determination, perseverance, cross-cultural sensitivity and a very good sense of customer support, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of contract negotiation, risk management and commercial and legal terms. Strong leadership in team development, motivation, performance management.
- Fluent in written and spoken communication skills in mandarin and English.
- Must be proactive, have high level of self-motivation, self-starter with drive and winner spirit who can infect his/her team with the own attitude.
