In this position of UPW-WaTR area manager, you will be responsible for technology leadership of a 24x7 area, managing the engineers and UPW-WaTR group leader who manages a group of 10+ techs respectively.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing a professional team to support business goals with: Safety, quality, permit compliance, cost and all operational parameters to enable operational excellence, matching, BIC mindset, efficient problem solving, root cause analysis and decision making processes in real time.
• Maintaining high org-health in your area, improving positive employee relations, building an inclusive work environment and owning people career development.
• Developing strategic roadmap and tactical plans to achieve area goals, leading technical taskforces and resolving complex technical issues
• Leading the area through Start-Up, Ramp and sustaining with matching and BIC parameters.
• Leading cross regional/VF wide improvement initiatives/programs.
• Leading matching and technology transfer to F28 with CE and value engineering possibilities.
• Establish healthy networking/interfaces with VF/local peers, customers, key suppliers, municipal authorities and senior management in the FAB/across CS.

Qualifications

Education: A BSc degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering. MSc is an advantage.

Additional qualifications include:

• Facilities management experience of at least 5 years, preferably in a 300mm facility with in depth understanding and knowledge of facilities systems and methodologies in the semiconductors industry
• Strong people management skills and leadership capabilities
• Candidate needs to possess demonstrated ability to lead technical taskforces, problem solving methods, drive aggressive roadmaps, and resolve complex technical issues
• Demonstrated ability of strong working relationship with VF partners, local peers, stakeholders and senior management.
• Strong customer orientation
• Ability to work and respond effectively and efficiently under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English more
