This position allows the candidate to work with a progressive clinical team treating patients struggling with addiction. For an LCSW looking for the next step in their career, there is an incredible opportunity to develop and improve systems within our program(s). This position does include some non-addiction counseling. In this model, integrated behavioral health is delivered on a short term basis as opposed to traditional long term counseling. This person would coordinate group visits and shared medical appointments and have a chance to work closely with residents and students.

Responsibilities:
Works with primary care teams to treat and manage patients with addiction (i.e. individual or group counseling)
Provides admin support and database management to the addiction medicine program
Assists primary care health providers in recognizing and treating behavioral health disorders and psychosocial problems
Remains available for warm hand-offs, informal "consults" and educational experiences

The ideal candidate will have:
Maine state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
