Carry out Eagle Investment operational activities. This role is also expected to participate in project tasks on investment data for investment functions in AIA group.

Perform and support Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and non-IBOR data services/ tasks to ensure data quality as part of business-as-usual (BAU) activities

1. Complete daily/ weekly/ monthly BAU activities effectively and efficiently as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

2. As part of the team, create, implement and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP), Data Dictionary & Lineage for “in-scope” investment data

3. Have strong Eagle application knowledge in order to investigate, analyze, interpret and collaborate with team members on the findings and resolution of data issues.

4. Work closely with the IBOR/Eagle Implementation team to ensure the quality and integrity of data solutions provided.

5. Actively participate in IBOR/Eagle related projects or discussions to improve data quality, accuracy, integrity and consistency, including recommend continuous improvements to data and production issues.

6. Review all the documentation and deliverables shared by Eagle team and ensure all the information’s are documented and follows the AIA required standards.

7. Collaborate with various team members/stakeholders to ensure data from IBOR/Eagle are high quality to drive efficiencies and streamline the processes.

8. As part of the team, strengthen Data Management practices with focus on

a) Data ownership & control

     i. Clearly defined Business Data Owners that is separate from System Owners, supported by SLA with Managed Services Vendors and AIA Local Countries

b) Data quality & integrity

    i. Conduct data cleansing, validation and other operational matters across Investment Data Estate

    ii. Maintain data accurately and consistently via SOP and Data Dictionary & Lineage

c) Data timeliness

    i. Regular review of system processes vs business requirements to provide timely data

   ii. Straight-through processing as much as possible (automation)
