Purpose of job position:
LQA Lead junior is responsible for monitoring projects' workflow for the LQA program and checking if deadlines are met.
Main responsibilities
- Gathers feedback from translators and proof-readers and passes it on to the client
- Monitors project activities, suggests improvements
- Adheres to the localization instructions regarding quality provided by the customer
- Identifies and reports linguistic issues and discrepancies
- Cooperates on planning projects and solving project issues
- Cooperates with the Project Manager during the course of the project
- Checks QA forms to make sure reviewers carefully filled them out
- Assigns projects according to reviewers' capacity
- Assists reviewers whenever needed
- Monitors projects' workflow and check deadlines are met
- Coordinates the proof readers' work
- Provides feedback to translators, localizers and proof-readers
- Contributes to the linguistic workflows and processes definitions and specifications
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor degree in translation or extensive experience in the field
- Translation work, knowledge of translation environment
- Min. experience in the field: 2 years
- English: Upper-Intermediate (8)
