Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director Human Resources LSG Commercial Operations for APJ, this position is responsible for on-going execution of human resources’ initiatives and programs that align with and support the Life Sciences Group business strategy.

This position will implement HR Analytics & reporting across the APAC Life Sciences commercial teams to enable a high performing, highly productive and cost effective organization. Analytics and action planning/execution will be around the following areas: sales coverage model & workforce plan, capabilities assessment planning, retention, reward, and full engagement of a best-in-class workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing HR analytics framework/dashboard to evaluate success: Establish Key HR metrics/ HR Dashboard across the APAC Commercial teams in the Life Sciences Group (LSG). Act as single point of contact for the APAC HR teams for HR metrics and reporting.

  • Lead HR Dashboard cadence and usage, including change management & communications. Partner with region LSG Finance & Sales Ops to triangulate field sales data and drive usage of common metrics across the teams. Pro-actively identify divergent viewpoints and establish a common ground.

  • Independent HR partner providing end-to-end HR leadership & support to a couple of businesses across the region (e.g: Customer Care/Services, Regional Marketing). Partner with regional business leader and functions to provide on-going execution of human resources’ initiatives and programs that align with and support the business strategy

  • HR Reporting: scorecards and metrics and ad-hoc reports including quarterly business reviews (QBR), Human Resources KPI, annual ethics completion, talent assessments, PMD calibration, PMD and goals and objectives completion, Talent Acquisition analytics. Assist with quarterly regional commercial leadership meetings including HR content, presentations and data analysis.

  • Provide support to the LSG APAC HR Leader in the following areas:
    • Assist in rollout and implementation of Global HR programs including Sales Effectiveness Programs, Talent Management, Rewards Planning, Employee Satisfaction Surveys etc.
    • Assist with integration activities including tracking of headcount actions, communication and change plan development and management and retention initiatives.
    • Establish and manage an annual HR calendar of key HR processes, initiatives and projects.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Analytical: should have a passion for data and analytics. Ability to analyze complex data and provide a condensed output to cross-functional stake-holders.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment, and ability to achieve common ground amidst diverse viewpoints.
  • Culturally savvy: ability to create partnerships across a virtual network. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a large and virtual organization.
  • Program management: ability to independently lead HR projects with a focus on change management, communication and project planning.
  • High-energy & result-driven: ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while balancing speed & deadlines with robust dialogue and quality of data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of progressive HR experience in MNC environment.
  • Prior HR experience supporting Commercial/Go-to-market organisations will be an added advantage.
  • Advanced level of Proficiency in MS Office – including ability to work with Pivot tables, slicers and macros.
  • HRIS: prior exposure to HR ERP tools including running reports and analyses. Experience with Workday will be an added advantage.
