Job Overview:
Monitors the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) on the assigned shift. This liaison will ensure that the LSP is supplying the line and performing all functions as outlined in the contract. This position will also provide technical supervision to the Logistics Coordinator on the assigned shift.  


Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for the Logistics Service Provider
- Track Logistics Service Provider (LSP) KPI’s & monitor countermeasures
- Oversee, organize and coordinate all work content of the LSP in collaboration with the direct supervisor
- Support administration and communication between the LSP team and MBV teams 
- Support continuous improvement processes for production processes, product quality, work environment, and ergonomics
- Follow up on any emergencies with safety or escalate part shortages with LSP appropriately
- Assist with audits of LSP on shop floor
- Facilitate daily meetings with LSP management
- Coordinate tasks with all departments that have interaction with the LSP
- Administer company policies and procedures
- Prepares reports based on data and present findings to supervisor
Will perform other duties as assigned

- High School Diploma or GED and 0-2 years of relevant logistics experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Ability to lead and work in teams’
- Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculation
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
