Job Description

Test Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with packaged unit testing including operations equipment process and training, ensures streamlined operations in processing engineering samples and engineering work orders.

Collects and evaluates operating data to support engineering activities such as sustaining various types of specialized test equipment (HDMX toolset HDMT testers UCM CXT handlers LCBI toolset).

As a Test Manufacturing Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to qualitatively running lots by operating maintaining, and repairing specialized processing equipment to ensure high output without compromising safety or quality, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.

Perform test tooling recovery and seek out continuous technical growth in tooling level troubleshooting and recovery knowledge to buddy, train, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.

Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.

A high degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.

Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.

  • Willing to lift up to 30 lbs. and walk long distances

  • Willing to work on 12 hours shift day or night

  • Willing to wear closed shoes all day

  • Willing to push carts for at least a distance of 500 m

  • Willing to perform detailed visual inspection tasks

Additional notes: 

Candidate must be able to start within 6 months of receiving the offer.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

You must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:
The candidate must possess an AA (STEM) degree in discipline.

4 + years of military experience in a technical field will be considered in lieu of an AA degree (STEM).

5+ years of experience in basic electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operations in semiconductor manufacturing technology

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in:

Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience on 200 or 300mm equipment
Process control systems
Integrated-circuit fabrication experience (lithography, diffusion, thin films, etch, metallization, Implant, CVD, and planarization.
Computer software (Microsoft Office and database entry)

And -1 year of experience reading schematics and complex drawings diagrams
