Job Description
We are looking to recruit an Escalation Support Engineer predominantly responsible for arranging Low Voltage Motor repairs both within and outside of the Motor Warranty period, provision of replacement Motor quotes, repair partner concerns and for the certification of local Motor repair partners. This Manchester based role demands developed communication and interpersonal skills as you will have direct contact with our customers, 3rd parties and will be required to collaborate with colleagues across the SIEMENS business. Goals and Mission: To provide support solutions that surpass the expectations of our customers in order to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Ensuring that the profit, quality and growth expectations of the businesses are met or exceeded. Working Partners and Contacts: Reporting to the Business Manager CS Development the job holder will be responsible for delivering innovative service solutions that meet or exceed the expectations of our partners. The role requires the individual to work closely with other members of the CS MC team as well as with other colleagues within DI, third parties and contractors. Throughout all aspects of the role there will be a strong focus on the quality of customer service provided to both our internal and external customers. Focus: Ensure client satisfaction and retention whilst improving our profitability, revenue and growth. Job Purpose and Tasks: Provide technical support for MC LV Motor customer related questions. Act as the interface leading and supporting customer issues for the business from investigation, data summary reports to technical presentations to both customers and the internal business. Preparation and handling, within a timely manner, technical quotations and negotiations for LV Motor service-related matters which include urgent breakdown support requests, preventive maintenance works, inspection and repair works, testing and commissioning works, retrofit works. Collaborating with both contractors and internal personnel to ensure progress is made in a timely, efficient, and a collaborative manner. Leading corrective and preventative actions. Provide on-site and office-based support as may be required. Validate pricing and examine the ability to deliver of all involved third parties. Follow up on all quotations and services provided. Use the CRM tool to maintain customer records, log opportunities, quotations, all account activities whilst ensuring that these are regularly updated. Access our ability to carry out local LV Motor repairs by accessing and authorising local repair partners. Experience: This is a fast paced role, and we are looking for a validated individual who can demonstrate: Qualified to NVQ/HND/HNC/Degree level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a relevant Automation subject area or equivalent experience. Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint Experience of working with SIEMENS MC LV Motors. Excellent oral and written presentation skills, applications, market and competition knowledge and the ability to communicate optimally at all levels within an organisation are crucial. Analytical thinking, decision making and change orientation. Ability to handle time and resources and able to demonstrate that they can work under pressure, to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
