About Our Team:
Lenovo Value Recovery (LVR) is an exciting new business unit dedicated to the
circular economy through the reuse, refurbishment and redeployment of hardware
solutions. LVR operates as a small start up company within Lenovo and is
given the autonomy to create the operational infrastructure needed to support
this new business unit. This newly formed team is made up of individuals
with diverse backgrounds in product development, support, and supply chain.
What You’ll Do:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in supply
chain (order fulfillment or inventory management), finance or operations.
Candidates for this role will need to be accustomed to working in a fast
paced, “start up company” environment in which they will need to perform
multiple duties beyond the scope of their role as defined. Candidates will
need to be self motivated and have the ability to work independently to define
and close workstreams with urgency.
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Team lead responsibilities for the training, strategic direction, and
prioritization of work for (2) employees working in Operations Analyst roles
• Ensure the accurate and timely movement of inventory between Lenovo
locations
• Track analytics associated with inventory including average valuation, age,
and sources of inventory
• Reconcile payments and invoices between Lenovo and external partners
• Track Lenovo ROI as related to external and internal sales
• Provide operations execution support to geo leaders as needed to close
internal and external customer opportunities
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of supplier/business partner/customer relationship management
• 7+ years experience working in the technology industry
• 7+ years supply chain, finance and/or operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience leading and driving global teams
•Strong project management and multitasking skills
•Ability to work in a dynamic environment in which infrastructure and
processes may not be completely defined
