We are now sourcing for an experienced and driven Laboratory Manager for Analytical Technology at our Westport site in Mayo. Reporting to our Director of Pharmaceutical Technology you will take responsibility for analytical technology related to R&D products, Botox MPS Analytical and all New Product Introductions (NPI) for the group. In your new role, you will: Lead a team of Biologics Pharma Tech scientists and specialists working on NPIs. Implement all analytical requirements for NPI’s throughout the life cycle of the product and support commercial development. Liaise with multiple sites and departments across the network to ensure product transfers and submissions Project management of all Biologic NPIs. Botox MPS Analytical management. Routine Product Testing -Release and Stability. Provide technical support to all aspects of analytical activities, following site SOPs and multiple product controls. Review/Approval of all analytical/product documentation. Support installation of new equipment as required. Review/Approval of quality records in QMS Support and lead Laboratory projects to ensure timelines are met successfully. Manage group activities as required and lead projects to ensure completion. Participate at meetings and provide input to key projects and improvements within the group. Adhere to and support all EHS procedures and policies. Qualifications Education and Experience Third level qualification in a relevant science discipline. 3-5 years experience in a similar role preferably at a managerial level. Minimum of 8 years working in a similar lab setting with NPI, Method development and validation experience preferred. Knowledge of biologics manufacturing, bioassays, biochemistry, and biostatistics within a GMP testing laboratory. Excellent communication and presentations skills, both written and oral. Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan and schedule workloads.
