Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Reliability Supervisor, are to: 

 

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams in installation, deployment, reconfiguration, and relocation of complex laboratory automation systems and equipment;
  • Provide appropriate expertise and training to Maintenance Technicians and Reliability Engineers on automation repair, maintenance, and improvement founded on best practices and industry standards;
  • Utilize methodologies like TPM, LEAN, RCA, etc., to improve maintenance processes/procedures and ensure maximum system uptime;
  • Identify opportunities in the laboratory production processes for improvement through utilization of technology and automation and influences change to implement those improvements;
  • Work thorough knowledge of HSE policies regarding automation systems, equipment, and lab procedures, ensure teammates and coworkers are familiar with the policies, drive compliance, and develop and maintain all appropriate documentation required by HSE;
  • Provide knowledge, expertise and guidance on automation systems and equipment reliability to colleagues across sites, regions, and countries.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Associate’s degree or Electrical/Technical certification with at least four years of experience in the reliability/maintenance or field service industry or Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field with at least two years of experience;
  • Experience working with CMMS;
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment and personnel;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experienced with TMP and LEAN methodology;
  • Experience leading project teams;
  • Strong skills in laboratory automation and it's integration with information technology and data infrastructures;
  • Experience leading teams and people management.
