Responsibilities *

l Responsible for providing technical lab support in accordance with the execution AP and China Regional Strategic Plan;

l Develop and implement Laboratory Process and SOP;

l Maintain calibration and maintenance schedule for all PA laboratory equipment;

l Document, maintain and update STP Lab TSR Project database in accordance to Central Stamford Lab Procedure;

l Coordinate and execution of Joint Customer Technical Service Work Request (TSR) in a timely manner;

l Work together with field Technical Service and Sales Team to provide data summary and project update on a monthly basis

l Participate in lab operations including polymer processing, data acquisition, data summary, data analysis, preparation of interim and final customer presentations and project updates for customer related projects.

Qualification:

l Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science

l +7 years’ experience in polymer testing laboratory

l Operation of typical polymer testing and measuring equipment: injection molding, polymer extruder, colorimeter, gloss meter, physical property (Instron), thermal oven, QUV, Melt-flow Tester, heated press, etc.

l High Analytical Skills – Insightful analysis of data.
