Overview
TES is looking for a Lab Technician. This position presents an opportunity to work
collaboratively as part of a team as two lab technicians supporting nine teachers. A

Responsibilities
Curriculum Support
- Provide teachers with safe, clean apparatus, fully operational equipment as requested for lessons
- Assist science teachers and students in practical lessons and investigations.
- Help to spread best practise across the department by advising on the most suitable equipment and investigations based on experience and materials available.
- Create and maintain systems to ensure equipment is utilized in the most effective way possible.
Maintenance of a Safe Working Environment
- Ensure that laboratories and science equipment are safe and functional.
- Monitor stocks of chemicals and equipment source replacements as required.
Qualifications
Good communication and organisational skills.
A willingness to learn
College or University Degree.
A major in a Science subject is desirable.
