Lab Technician (Taicang)

Job Role Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse base oils, additives and products according to specifications. Prepare inspection reports and authorizes product filling if it meets product specification
• Input laboratory inspection report into Quality Assurance Laboratory Information Management System (QA LIMS)
• Conduct laboratory blending for new formulation or to make change of existing formulation
• Assist Lead Chemist for designated laboratory equipment calibration/maintenance
• Observe all safety rules and maintains good housekeeping practices and 5S in work area
• Assist Lead Chemist in trouble-shooting product quality problems. Suggest correction for off-specification product through laboratory blend study, if necessary
• Coordinate with other departments and ensure timely batch release
• Conduct work that assigned by management team

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Chemistry
• Laboratory skills, including ability to analyze data, interpret and evaluate technical information
• Able to work in team environment
• Basic skill in English and computer manipulation ability
• Able to work on shifts
