YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Laboratory Technician, are to: 

• Assemble and disassemble processing and packaging equipment;
• Operate processing and packaging equipment;
• Assist Technical Transfer and Formulation Development scientist within the GMP Area during manufacturing and packaging;
• Assist Clinical Supplies with secondary packaging and labeling activities;
• Review operational and cleaning procedures during updates;
• Clean processing and packaging equipment as required;
• Check stock of and order supplies for the GMP Pilot Plant;
• Dispense and preweigh raw materials and packaging materials;
• Coordinate room cleaning with 3rd party cleaners;
• Maintain GMP Area in a clean state;
• Assist with receiving materials.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of six years practical experience in working with processing equipment;
• Demonstrate organization skills and a basic understanding of pharmaceutical processes;
• Calculate math problems, read and write at a high school level;
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using cGmps and SOPs in a pharmaceutical environment.
