Job Description
Overall Role Description :
Be accountable for full compliance to the company core values and local laws/regulations for all activities of facilities services within the site. Ensure all the Equipment in facilities are maintained efficiently. Understand the requirement of the end customer . Coordinate with other teams like Admin, safety and ensure that deliverables to end users are met.
Responsibilities:
1.Coordinate with SHE & Security team and ensure day-to-day SHE activities like issuing of permits, Job risk Analysis, Environmental impacts are followed as per site requirements.
2.Work in conjunction with Business to create and introduce programs for continuous improvement on Environmental Stewardship in terms of Indoor Air Quality, Emissions from Fume Hoods.
3.Oversee the maintenance team to maintain the Equipment’s like Chill water , Steam boiler, AHU Units , Air Compressor, Purified Water, Etc. with all the equipment’s maintained for >95 % uptime
4.To develop SOP, Preventive Maintenance schedule, for the equipment’s and monitor their implementation and adherence.
5.Be part of project team in all laboratory/processing area fit-out and re-engineering projects.
6.Support on laboratory instrument/equipment installation projects.
7.Operation and Maintenance of the Chillers, Air Compressor, Steam Boiler, Purified Water system, AHU’S etc.
8.Maintain and manage all the BMS related activities pertaining to HVAC.
9.Work in Collaboration with other teams to ensure that all work orders are completed in time.
10.Size up the capacity of utilities, space, and people and other resources, plan and implement capacity expansion or contraction.
11.To own, manage and administer FS&RE expense budget like HVAC Cost, Manpower cost,.
12.Liaison with local government, authorities like Pollution control Board and external technical resources.
Qualification:
1.Be experienced on facility operation in R&D facility or manufacturing
2.Have an in depth knowledge on HVAC equipment’s like Chillers above 500 tones, Split AC, VRF units etc.
3.Exposure to preventive maintenance planner, schedule and execution.
4.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.*
5.Should have total work experience in similar role of 5-10years with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in HVAC and Lab facilities Maintenance role.
6.Be able to lead and manage projects ( Minor/ Small/Large)
7.Able to organize and prioritize numerous complex tasks.
8.Able to provide technical training to the technicians.
9.Strong interpersonal skills with customer focus are required.
10.Engineering Graduate (B-Tech: HVAC or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering) / Post Graduate in Science.
11.Project management experience is preferred.
12.Fluent English of both speaking and writing.
