RWS Language & Content Technology division: offering the latest innovations in language and content management technology to help enterprises engage with global audiences – across any device. Our language technology enables enterprises to automate and manage the entire content lifecycle. And our web content and structured content management technology supports the creation, translation and delivery of global content at scale – in ways that are efficient, secure and compliant. The combination of our language and content technology – enhanced with state-of-the art Machine Learning – offers the capability to manage the ‘end-to-end’ translation supply chain.

Main responsibilities                        
1    Gathers feedback from translators and proof-readers and passes it on to the project team                    
2    Monitors project activities, suggests improvements                    
3    Creates instructions on linguistic processes and language quality with regards to the requirements of the customer                    
4    Identifies and reports linguistic issues and discrepancies                    
5    Cooperates on planning projects and solving project issues                    
6    Ensures trainings/certification of all linguists participating in the project    
 
Authorities                        
1    Coordinates the proof-readers                    
2    Provides feedback to translators, localizers and proof-readers                    
3    Evaluates the translators, localizers and proof-readers                    
4    Implements suggestions from the customer regarding the use of terminology, style etc.                    
5    Implements changes required by external and internal customers                    
6    Organizes project meetings with translators/localizers and proof-readers                    
7    Acts as a single point of contact for the Customer in the area of linguistic requirements/expectations and processes    
 
Requirements                        
Education-specialization    University degree in arts, specialization: linguistics ; English                    
Experience - specify - what area or position, etc. (number of years)    Active translator/localizer, knowledge of translation environment (CAT Tools)
