Objective of job
1. Manage and coordinate the entire topic Launch Management for Passenger Cars and Vans in order to ensure successful market launches in China.
2. Ensure the Market- and Dealer-Readiness for the planned New-Car- and Product-Launches and Facelifts as well as relevant Modelyear-Changes, manage and coordinate the monitoring and reporting.
3. Enable the authorized Mercedes-Benz network to receive selected but necessary Special Tools and Workshop Equipment for relevant vehicles.
4. Coordinate the NEV reporting and authorization tasks.
Main tasks
1 Launch Management
Manage and coordinate in cooperation with relevant departments the preparation for a successful market launch for passenger cars in China.
Strategically analysis and manage Launch Management improvement.
Track development and report status on regular basis to managagment. Recognize and analyse delays at an early stage. Develop countermeasures and push responsibles for implementation. Initiate escalation process within BMBS and HQ.
Interaction with Headquarter and dealer network for information exchange and to communicate latest developments and planning.
Close loop management on dealer preparation of new car launch management.
2 Special Tools and workshop equipment
Generate awareness of required Special Tools and workshop equiments in China. Enable the authorized Mercedes-Benz network to receive necessary Special Tools for relevant vehicles on time. Create awareness and reports of Special Tool situation in China.
Strategically analysis and manage Special Tools improvement. Interaction with Headquarter and dealer network for information exchange and to communicate latest developments and planning

3 NEV related reporting and authorization tasks follow up
Coordinate for NEV annual report, local filling and NEV annual inpection actives which requested by authority on the level of BMBS/CT.
4 Relationship/ Team support
Cultivate good relations and contacts to colleagues and other departments.
Proactive internal team support, active participation on meetings and engagement to drive business development
