What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Report to supervisors any stained or torn guest and staff laundry before beginning process of cleaning. Also report any items left in pockets or any jewelry on clothing.
• Ensure all colleague requests and instructions are adhered to. E.g. fold in trousers, light starch, shirt folded etc.
• Ensure working area is kept clean and organized.
• Present guest and staff laundry as instructed.
• Adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards.
• Carry out valet services as needed including delivery of linen.
• Receiving, sorting and distributing clean uniforms to personnel. He/She should be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with other employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills in

• Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the colleagues

• Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service

• Minimum 2years’ experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:   

•    Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
•    Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
•    Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
