We are searching for our next Legal superstar to join our General Counsel team here in London to provide fully comprehensive legal advice on all hotel development and hotel operations activities across our Northern European region.

• You will act as a lawyer for Accor in Northern Europe in support of all of its business activities namely managing and franchising of hotels

 

• The role will be focused mainly on providing advice in respect of long term operating agreements (mostly management or franchise) and all related aspects in relation to hotels in Northern Europe but with particular emphasis on the UK

 

• The role may involve the provision of support for other legal workstreams such as commercial legal aspects (e.g. procurement, sales contracting etc.), compliance and corporate transactions, data protection etc.

 

• The jobholder will be self-reliant and capable of independent legal decision-making as well as the management of legal correspondence with internal departments and external contractual and negotiating partners

 

• The position is based in London with occasional domestic or international travel (in compliance with travel guidelines and safety requirements)

 

Your profile?

 

• A 2:1 honors or above in Law or equivalent.
• 3 + years post qualification experience and 6 to 7 years’ experience in real estate, commercial and/or intellectual property is highly desirable.
• Previous in-house experience desirable
• French and/or German speaker desirable
• Hospitality and/or previous experience within a matrixed organisation is preferred.

 

In addition to the above, you will be commercially astute, people centric, and analytically driven with the confidence to operate independently and as part of a team. You will confidently manage stakeholders through your ability to communicate, educate and articulate your subject expertise.  Effective internal and external stakeholder management will also help to see your success in this role!
