Eaton’s Global Financial Accounting Team is currently seeking a Lead Accounting Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Beachwood, OH. Position Overview: This position performs professional accounting work involving reporting and analysis of global financial results to provide senior management with timely and accurate financial information that aids in decision-making. In this role, you will: Prepare, analyze and post journals ensuring timeliness and accuracy Provide in-depth, accurate and timely analysis of out of balances to propose solutions, gain an understanding of the key drivers and make recommendations for decision-making Overview Chart of Accounts ensuring account maintenance responsibilities are performed timely and in line with Eaton guidelines and policies Responsible for analyzing Intercompany Out of Balances and other complex accounts Prepare and review consolidated monthly forecast and annual profit plan and provide meaningful analysis of variances to senior management Develop and maintain relationships with various controllers globally to provide accounting support and financial analysis Controllership for various ledgers including daily and month end transactional activity, preparation and approval of account reconciliations and ad-hoc analysis Participate in and lead special projects and implement process improvements to help drive efficiencies in the finance organization Prepare reports and lead discussions related to audit requests from internal and external When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business and/or Finance from accredited institution Minimum three (3) years’ experience in accounting and/or finance Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
