Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Lead Analyst - Benefits Accounting to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Flexible hybrid work schedule available. Position Overview: This position is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and processing all accounting, forecasting and profit planning requirements for Eaton's various benefit and compensation programs which include Eaton's US and Canadian health and welfare plans. This position will collaborate on issues with multiple global corporate functions such as Human Resources, Executive Compensation, and Payroll as well as managing & directing third party administrators, auditors, and consultants. In this function you will: Complete all aspects of accounting, forecasting, and reporting for Eaton’s health and welfare plans. You will understand changes to plan rules and legislative changes and ensure they are incorporated into the accounting and reporting processes. You will ensure account balances are properly stated. Manage the accounting for Eaton’s Health & Flexible Spending Program and prepare & reconcile weekly funding activity for the Health & Flexible Spending Accounts. You will complete quarterly and annual audit of payroll deductions. You will finalize annual escheat report and prepare closing entries. You will authorize third party administrator to make correcting adjustments to employee payroll. Responsible for maintaining administrative expenses associated with Eaton’s health and welfare plans. Oversee the reporting of the executive life insurance plan (ELIP), which include posting entries to the General Ledger and reconciliation of accounts monthly while ensuring payroll contributions are adequate. Manage accounting for company owned life insurance, as well preparing profit plan, and adjusting forecast. Develop and maintain working relationships with Eaton’s outside suppliers to identify and resolve issues, ensure data integrity, pay invoices, and compliance with Eaton’s benefit programs. Monitor and review the financial ledgers to ensure compliance with US laws, US GAAP/IFRS, tax codes, government regulations and filing requirements. Oversee account reconciliations, key performance indicators, and closing activities ensuring high quality and timely delivery of financial information Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
