Eaton is currently seeking a Lead Analyst, Compensation to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Position Overview: Eaton’s Lead Analyst, Compensation position will lead and assist in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of global compensation elements and programs. Provide support in broader areas of compensation including external benchmarking, data analysis, and process improvements. This position supports several compensation programs, such as global salary survey participation, short-term incentives analysis, market trends, merit planning, competitiveness analysis and others. In this function you will: Assist in annual merit planning process including budgeting, modeling, merit matrix development, merit planning tool testing and administration, training, communication, and analysis Lead global salary range development process. Develop and maintain US salary band exempt, non-exempt and sales salary ranges, and Development Program rates. Lead and facilitate the global compensation survey process and complete US participation Conduct research into compensation best practices, evaluate internal processes and results against strategy and objectives and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements for compensation policies and processes Lead market pricing processes and practices including methodology, job benchmarking, resources, and training and maintenance of the MarketPay tool or any other compensation tool. Lead and/or support special compensation projects as assigned Partners with HR Services and develops tools and processes. This includes but not limited to: jobs benchmarking, market pricing, pay actions guidelines training. Job Architecture Maintenance – Partner with HR and HR Services to create, update, and maintain job titles and salary ranges in HRMS. Market tier identification and administration, including geographic differentials for Development Program Facilitate and process invoice processing for all Compensation related invoices. Research, analyze, and develop modifications to compensation programs, develop administrative procedures, prepare communications materials and training for HR. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or Business from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR or Finance No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: MBA preferred Experience in an analytical role in support of senior-level decision making Knowledge of HRMS systems Solid Excel skills Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills CCP or World at Work certification 3+ years of Compensation experience Position Criteria: Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
