Job Description
Eaton’s Corporate is currently seeking a Lead Analyst, Compensation & Benefits, Mexico to join our team. This position is based at our Santa Fe Office. The Lead Analyst, Compensation & Benefits, Mexico is responsible to assure Compensation, Benefits and Wellness process excellence and to generate information and insights to support Compensation, Benefits and Wellness strategy for 19 plants & 4 sales offices in Mexico. This position is accountable to assist with the plan, and develop regional benefits and compensation programs, as well as the Wellness strategy for the region. This position is accountable for planning, evaluating, administering and supporting employee compensation and benefit programs such as salaries, short-term incentives, retirement plans, and life, health and disability insurance, annual increases, survey participation, competitiveness analysis and others. Some activities related with the position will be: Develops, implements and administers cost-effective benefits programs such as pension plans, life, health, and disability insurance, cash allowances, Savings Fund, Caja de Ahorro and other benefit programs. Vendor management with pension plans and life, health, and disability insurance, cash allowances, Savings Fund, Caja de Ahorro and other benefit programs. Either internally or through an outsourced service. Involves planning, implementing, and coordinating compensation and benefits activities and processes for all Eaton sites in Mexico. Research, analyze, and develop modifications to benefits programs, develop administrative procedures, prepare communications materials and training of administrators. Assists in compensation and benefits Harmonization in policies, processes and vendors. Responsible of planing and implementation of new vendors. May act as a project manager. Realizes benefits coverage evaluation, benchmarking, and cost analysis. Oversees the implementation of policies on compensation and benefits. Implements and executes salary program and policies involving research, analyses, development of modifications to compensation and benefits programs to meet organization objectives and needs. Compensation evaluation and analysis for job analysis, evaluation and classification, C&B survey participation, policy efectiveness, benefits benchmark and competitiveness analysis. Plan and implementation of general communication for compensation and benefit processes for employees or administrators. May also be accountable for mobility program management and design. May also administer the organization's Employee Assistance Program. Maintenance to current benefits contracts according to legal and labor requirements. Responsible for C&B Harmonirzation and vendor implementation for M&A projects. Responsible for execution analysis and audit processes and information to ensure alignment with Eaton strategy. Designing and implementing psychological, health, and financial wellness programs (e.g., health education, medical screenings, health coaching, weight management programs, wellness newsletters, on-site fitness programs and/or facilities, educational programs, etc.) Identifying employee needs and interests (e.g., conducts surveys, engages employees through communications and/or meetings, recommends new programs and changes, etc.) Evaluating work place conditions and providing recommendations to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, as a result of HRA outcome. Assist and co-responsible country benefits such as: Pension plan, Recognitions programs such as e-star, Seniority recognitions, Employee Saving Fund, Food Coupons, Company Cars, Health and Life insurance, Optional Insurances (funeral, dental, personal cars insurances). Wellness, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), & Domestic Mobility. Supports in the development and monitoring process of regional benefits budget. Constantly follows up on regulatory and legal compliance issue related to employee compensation and benefits across region. Partner with Regions, Businesses and Corporate client/functions to establish common C&B , communications, coordinated practices and tools. Responsible for organizational structure definition and analysis through Eaton´s strategic goals and market trends and best practices alignment. Supports on: Union negotiations providing market data & cost analysis for collective contract negotiations & Salary structure for Hourly employees. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: University degree 5-7 Years Customer Focus, Learning on the Fly and Standing Alone. Requires ability to work independently and to provide consultative advice. Be an effective communicator, who is comfortable in a high visibility position and who will act and empower for appropriate organizational change. Previous C&B or HR experience, Excel, Labor law, analytic skills.
