Job Description

Proposal Development - Conducts core activities related to proposal development. Writes first drafts of proposals and responses to RFPs, conducts research and prepares profitability modeling. Responsible for overall success of less complex or small proposals. Responsible for activities such as proposal drafting and research. Responsible for drafting responses to RFPs submitted by small to large sized target clients. Conducts legal/business reviews for all potential projects. May participate in final go/no-go deliberation. Coordinates with internal business units to research and gather information necessary to prepare a responsive submission to the RFP. Anticipates compliance, legal, or regulatory review required for response and works with more senior staff to address. May contact the financial advisor or work with the business development or relationship management team to clarify proposal requirements. Assists in developing and refining proposal processes and proposal library content. Responds to due diligence questionnaire requests, working with SMEs and the business line for finalization. No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.

5-7 years of total work experience preferred.

Experience in proposal development strongly preferred.

Request for proposal (RFP), RFP review and response background strongly preferred.

Due diligence questionnaire (DDQ), DDQ review and response background strongly preferred.

Experience in handling multiple priorities, deadline driven, team player and detailed oriented is strongly preferred. Prioritization is a must.

Financial services background preferred.
