Purpose;
To work in partnership with employees, leaders, key stakeholders and HR colleagues to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with the needs and priorities of ADI. Operating as a Lead HR Business Partner, to advise, guide and support employees and managers by providing high-level people management and development support across Japan organization.
Scope of this work includes;
- Working in partnership with managers and employees, to provide business solution with HR expertise, especially in the area of Organizational Effectiveness, Change Leadership, Coaching and Employee Relations.
- Drive and implement defined HR strategies into applicable action plans and ensure compliance with local legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Leads & deploy country talent management and succession planning in the market, as appropriate. This includes drive and facilitate discussions with leaders and help them identify organizational issues/opportunities and set plans for their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy.
- Change management lead for organizational change that have high employee impact
- Ensures compliance with key policies is consistently followed and proper documentation is maintained on all disciplinary issues.
- Enable the compensation framework for talent acquisition, retention and market adjustment processes
- Partner with Talent Acquisition external partner to hire best talent to fulfil current business requirements as well as future leaders’ pipeline.
- Diagnose employee concerns and relationships between the business and its people; ensure relationships are healthy, open and collaborative through appropriate communication strategies and management behaviors.
- Acts as a coach and source of advice on performance and development issues - intervening where necessary to improve management and team effectiveness.
- Promote performance management from goal-setting to performance reviews for workforce alignment with business goals
- To set necessary HR policies/guidelines through discussion and consensus with management members
Profile Requirements;
- Proficiency in native level Japanese and fluency level in spoken and written English
- Proven track record in leading key strategic People and Talent initiatives with business units
- Has strong execution experience in key HR initiatives in country
- Proven ability to make wise judgement and decisions and co-create innovative solutions in difficult, complex and rapidly changing situations
- Demonstrated cycle of success in HR Business Partnering experience, working with business leaders to drive high performance organization
- Strategic mindset and Proactive in planning ahead on all HR deliverables and execution & managing overall HR lifecycle and have an accountability mindset
- Strong leadership & collaboration with cross functional teams/leaders
- Experience in leading change management, talent & succession, organizational effectiveness, working in partnership with global/regional team
- Evidence of ability to assimilate well in a multi-cultural environment and to build consensus in support of corporate goals
- Strong collaborative skills- able to work cross-functionally and understand the needs of Ethics & Compliance, Corporate Functions and Commercial Team
- Experience working in the context of a complex and highly matrix global organization, in a multi-cultural environment and leading through influence are keys to success
