This exciting role offers opportunity to: Responsible for designing and developing finance technology solutions including financials analytics and automation, receiving minimal guidance. Partner with technology functional analysts on the finance technology team along with IT to create highly useful information for finance for medium to high complexity projects. Completes the development of medium to high complexity reporting analytics and automations. Responsible for understanding, preparing, processing and analyzing data to make the data valuable for financial decision making purposes. Able to develop highly useful insights from large amounts of data with limited support from others. Work is performed independently, but reviewed at critical check points. Demonstrate the desire to learn and apply new technical systems and concepts. • Increase the usability and effectiveness across our reporting and data analysis finance systems and tools. • Work with other data analyst, functional analysts, and data engineers to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies. • Utilize advanced mathematical, statistical, and analytical expertise to research, collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from internal and external sources to provide insight and develop data driven solutions across finance. • Use data science methodologies and advanced data visualization techniques to implement creative automation solutions across finance. • Oversee the processes and systems used for data analysis and reporting. • Communicates complex information so that it is easy to understand and influences others to take action based on the useful information provided. • Implements and maintains decision support or master data management solutions. • Has an understanding of current data context, processes and availability, and how current data processes and existing data can be leveraged to achieve the desired benefits. • Applies query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods and visualization techniques to create business insights or improve data quality. • Participate in evaluation of new tools /modules (technologies), benchmarking • Provide guidance for larger teams of contractor resources Qualifications Requirement: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience Technical knowledge: • Intermediate experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or R. • Hands on analytical tool skills preferred • Experience developing creative and innovative analytical insights with high business value preferred • Strong data wrangling skills • Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills • Able to extract insights from datasets using basic statistical methods • Able to prototype ideas quickly and create reproducible workflows • Knowledge of Azure Cloud(Synapse, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory) • Knowledge of Power Platform(Power BI, Power App , Power Automate) Soft Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Intermediate financial acumen • Hands on analytical tool skills preferred • Experience working in a cross-functional team • Creative and curious thinker • Well-organized and self-motivated. • Comfortable advancing multiple priorities on tight schedule • Effective problem solver.
