The Group:
ADI's Sustainable Energy Conversion Solutions team is focused on providing innovative solutions for the fast-growing electric vehicle and energy markets, wherever power is converted DC/DC, AC/DC or DC/AC. The urgency to address the climate change challenge is changing the pace of innovation in these markets. The Sustainable Energy team has been leading in the development of technologies and solutions to position ADI as leaders in this high growth area.


The Position:
The Sustainable Energy Conversion Solutions team in Scotland is seeking a LEAD DESIGN VERIFICATION ENGINEER. The successful candidate will work effectively within a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, leading the design verification of new mixed-signal products with sustainability impact, and collaborating with internal technology groups and external technology vendors to establish a best-practice development methodology for the team.


Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with digital leads, analog leads, applications engineers, and test and measurement leads to develop optimal system level solutions with sustainability impact
•    Lead the pre-silicon verification of mixed-signal products, working with a team of verification engineers
•    Bridge the verification and validation environments, supporting post-silicon validation
•    Execute for 100% verification coverage, combining DMS and AMS, top-level and IP-level
•    Establish and continuously improve verification flows, methodologies and models for the team
•    Support project management, task planning, resource planning, and scheduling
•    Provide mentorship and technical leadership, enabling a culture of continuous learning and improvement


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
•    Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 10+ years of experience
•    Experience in leading a design verification team
•    Experience in complex IC and IP developments
•    Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
•    Strong team worker within multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environments
•    HDL programming languages (Verilog / SystemVerilog)
•    IC top-level digital UVM verification (Universal Verification Methodology)
•    Functional Oriented and Randomized Verification, Gate Level Simulation
•    Regressions and Coverage
•    Analog behavioral models (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, Wreal, SystemVerilog, EEnet)
•    Excellent written and verbal communication


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
•    Verification planning tools (ePlanner, vManager)
•    Top-level UVM environment setup, formal based verification, emulation
•    Property Specification Language (PSL), SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA)
•    Good understanding of mixed-signal design flow and top-down development methodology
•    Proficient with Cadence tool suite
•    Scripting languages (Shell, TCL, PERL, Python)
•    Mixed-signal verification methodology and tools (AMS / APS / Flex)
•    Experience with multiple power and clock domains

•    Experience with automotive and functional safety development
