Job Description
Job Responsibilities: Coordinating Machinery Safety and Machinery Directives topics inside the team. Creation of standardized machinery safety documents and materials in German and English. Analyzing and developing application solutions (system architectures, preparation of specifications and requirements, offer support). Starting the implementation of the application together with the customer, developing sample programs tailored to the customer or creating complete applications for customers. Application, consulting and problem-solving support for customers, partners, and sales representatives. Conduct customer training, workshops and internal seminars on products and applications, general and project specific. Developing test programs and/or test data with appropriate tools and developing test cases in test specifications as instructions for the test execution and their implementation. Cooperation with other parties to ensure and further develop product strategies for machines from customer and application perspective Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent experience) Professional experience in the automation industry, preferably in machine control (at least 10 years) Certified machinery safety expert, certified expert in CE marking and certified expert in functional safety or similar are preferable Good knowledge of different motor types, different motor applications and industrial automation as well as deeper experience in frequency inverters Knowledge and flair about Codes & Standards (UL / CSA / CE / Functional-Safety) Experience with agile way of working Effective communication and problem-solving skills Experience in collaboration with decentralized development teams at different international locations Fluent in English and German language #LI-DM1 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
