Eaton’s Aerospace Group is currently seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is for our Glenolden, PA office. Position Overview: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, Electronic Products, the candidate will lead electrical design activities for advanced aerospace sensing technologies, including managing requirements decomposition and compliance, developing electronic architectures, developing designs, perform electronic modeling and analysis, lead internal design reviews and supplier reviews, and provide testing and verification oversight. Assignments will be predominantly focused on Eaton’s sensing products, which would include but is not limited to pressure sensors, chip detectors, debris monitors, and other related components. In this function you will: Develop Requirements specifications for Eaton’s line of advanced sensing products Perform electronic hardware development tasks like architecture development, circuit design, and circuit analysis to ensure compliance of all functional, performance, and environmental requirements Model and analyze electronic circuits using tools such as Pspice Create electrical schematics and printed circuit board layouts Research, recommend, innovate architect, and evaluate new electronic technology and designs Create and execute test plans and procedures Manage assigned tasks to schedule and budget Work in a cross-functional engineering team in developing products When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum five (5) years of experience in electrical engineering role Experience in analog and digital electronics circuit development Must be U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
