Drive Technology Roadmaps, Engineering excellence and leverage Analysis first approach. Lead efforts in Prelaunch, Prolaunch and develop new product line for Medium Voltage Assemblies. Understand the xRL levels and develop actions to increase maturity. Define VA roadmap for PDCA division conducting IP landscape, tear down events and competitor benchmarking. Guide and mentor Pune team for concept, detailed design and industrialization activities. Job Responsibilities Demonstrate capability in design of Medium Voltage Assemblies & Switches for UL standards Complete system / component sizing, modeling, and simulation to meet customer requirements Select engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations Demonstrate knowledge in Eaton Agile ProLaunch Hands on experience in product development leveraging DfX methodology. Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement As a Lead Engineer the candidate will be accountable for creating and executing a project plan. They will be the core technical expert on a project, and will also be responsible for finding and leveraging ancillary resources to create a project team. Lead Engineer is responsible for reporting on project status to senior management during portfolio reviews. Own development of test plans for short circuit, temperature rise, arc test in accordance with IEC/UL standards. Creates test object requirements, plan for assembly and finalize test parameters & instrumentation. Responsible for conducting tests by ensuring deployment of standard practices. Assesses test results, root cause analysis through test findings/failures and takes corrective/preventive actions Candidate will have accountability for overall system design including component selection and mechanical package design. Candidate will partner with internal industrialization team to implement new manufacturing tools and techniques to drive differentiated operational excellence into the product line. Candidate will support our operations teams with product line support, quality and VAVE activities. Effectively utilize EIIC Eco-system like Test Lab, Digital Org, S/w or F/w capabilities for Product design in line with Digitalization strategy Come up with NTI/NPI ideas, pitch them in water lining, get the funded projects & drive them to launch. Qualifications Requirement: Education level required: Master’s/Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably Mechanical. Years and area of experience required: More than 10 Years.
