Lead Engineer - Power Systems In this role, you will work in close alignment with rest of System Integration Services (SIS) Software and Systems Engineering teams in EMEA with the aim to: Support SIS Design and Bid team develop/validate technical scope included on bids Generate and/or supervise engineering deliverables development for complete SIS projects portfolio Support Project management team to assess technical challenges and propose alternative solutions Ensure system functionality onsite acting as highly specialized quality assurance and visiting the site when needed to support execution (end-to-end testing, IT scope execution) Coordinate and supervise engineering deliverables generated by subcontractors and Eaton offshore engineering back office Contribute to technical events presenting the latest Eaton system solutions Your key deliverables: Work in close collaboration with SIS Design and Bid team to ensure the quality of technical scope description of tender documents Own technical deliverables generation and supervision for assigned projects, this includes: Short circuit, Coordination, Selectivity of power system protection, harmonic analysis, power system analysis, Earthing/Grounding analysis, Arc Flash studies Expert usage of Power System modelling tools such as CYME, ETAP, SKM, AMTECH Maintain a constructive collaboration with assigned project managers to identify, quantify and mitigate technical risks during project execution Lead onsite technical activity remotely and be ready to go onsite for highly technical tasks supervisions or execution such as the end to end testing, comms validation, controls logic troubleshooting Participate in technical meetings with customer, subcontractors and suppliers (internal and external) during commercial and project execution phases Systematically update worksheet to reflect time allocated to different projects and activities Proactively propose improvement actions to the project team and wider SIS organization Qualifications Are you? Educated at bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering? Master’s degree would be a plus. Coming with at least 5 -7 years of relevant work experience? Having a solid technical knowledge of Power Systems (Medium Voltage and Low Voltage), including an understanding of industrial control systems and communications? A self-driven profile? Eager to learn and develop technical competences? Focused on pragmatic conflicts resolution approach? Able to translate deep technical discussions for non-technical stakeholders? Possessing a structured approach to problem-solving and performance monitoring? Advanced level in English language? Then we want to hear about you!
