Your essential responsibilities include: Position’s main focus will be leading the Software development for Industrial Control Division. Enrich & foster climate of digital innovation to drive growth & accelerate capability development. Leads product development for desktop, mobile and web Apps by understanding product requirements. Acts as a technical software product owner developes reqyurements, creates concepts, designs & develop feature enhancements and implementation of world class high performance enterprise grade software applications for electrical products using technologies like React Native Mobile App, IoT, C# .Net, WPF and mobile app development. Leads the process and overall technical execution on software activities of product development. Collaborates with global product engineering team and marketing team to plan and prioritize software development activities using Agile Scrum. Performing and coordinating technical reviews including architectural and detailed design reviews Trains, develops and motivates colleagues on technical aspects demonstrating ‘Right to Left’ thinking (starting with consideration for end user). • Identify and prioritize the feature to be implemented by coordinating with the stakeholders from ICD Engineering and Marketing teams. • Engage in reviewing the architecture and design changes to the C# .Net/WPF/MVVM, .Net Core based enterprise applications. • Drive Build management, change management, and configuration management tools like JIRA/bamboo/Bit Bucket/SVN etc. • Suggest and develop re-usable components and looks for continuous improvement opportunities in Electrical industrial control products. Share knowledge within the team and demonstrate flexibility working in parallel on multiple products. • Develop an understanding of both technology and product concepts. • Ensure quality of delivery in accordance with the plan adhering to the standard practices used in agile/waterfall model. • Experience in code reviews with team members for modules/tasks and ensuring that best practices and efficient coding standards are adhered to Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s in computer science / Electronics/ E&TC engineering with 12+ years of experience in SW development for Electrical Industrial products. Hands-on experience in Mobile App, IoT, C# .Net/WPF based software applications. Experience in Project Management, Stakeholder Communication Management, People Leadership and Technical Risk Management Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with respect to written and oral communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts. Knowledge of Unit Test frameworks such as NUnit / Moq / etc. Experience in implementing Designs like SOA, etc. Experience in Angular JS will be added advantage.. Experience in development of SOAP/REST, WCF/Web APIs services. Experience in working in Agile Team. Experience collaborating with local / global suppliers for Hardware/Software procurement, building test lab setups etc. Having exposure to FDT Technology will be an added advantage. Experience in working on Fieldbus protocols will be added advantage. Hands-on experience on developing Mobile applications will be added advantage. Able to configure embedded software systems and develop graphical user interface (GUI) on multiple platforms such as laptop, hand-held devices or web portals that allow user-friendly (re)configuration of control systems. Should have worked with fieldbus communication protocols at application side. Sound Knowledge and experience with process frameworks (e.g. CMMI) including requirements management, defect tracking, build management, change management, and configuration management tools Software FMEA Excellent communications skills.
