As a Lead Experience Designer (UX/UI) you will use your skills to:

• Create unique products and services as well as relevant solutions together with your team to engage users with valuable experiences
• Lead small to medium size (design) teams and ensure quality of output
• Steer and plan (design) tasks, also including project budgeting as well as controlling
• Motivate and develop your team throughout the project and establish a common culture that the team identifies with
• Concisely communicate the venture vision to diverse stakeholders, including leadership and client
• Be a driving force in workshop situations and inspire designers and venture team members alike
• Encourage upwards and downwards communication to ensure alignment as well as knowledge transfer within the team
• Use your qualitative as well as quantitative research knowledge to guide your team through our innovation phases and make results tangible through sustainable KPIs
• Work hands-on whenever needed and prepare research as well as testing, map customer journeys, develop service blueprints, design desirable and feasible solutions for complex products and services that make opportunities tangible for multiple audiences

As a Lead Experience Designer (UX/UI) you will need:

• Undergraduate degree in Interaction Design, Interface Design, Human Computer Interaction, Service Design, (Graphic) Design with emphasis on UX or equivalent qualification
• Several years of relevant experience in designing user experiences and building products; experience in a startup, tech company and agile environment is a plus
• Experience and understanding of different platforms as well as responsive web design
• Strong understanding of business models and economics
• Startup curiosity and knowledge of startup dynamics
• Excellent leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
• Teaming skills, empathy and willingness to work in interdisciplinary team
• Positive attitude that inspires team members and an intrinsic motivation to deliver the highest quality
• Experience in agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Knowledge in E-commerce, Mobile or Recommendation Systems (RecSys)
• Experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR)/ Virtual Reality is a plus
• Business fluent in English
