Eaton’s Electrical Division has an exciting opportunity for a Lead FP&A Analyst for the EPNA (Crouse-Hinds) North America business. This is a hybrid position. Position Overview: This position will play in integral role in providing Division and Business Unit management with reliable financial analysis to make decisions impacting the financial performance of the corporation. Because that’s what really matters. Our employees make sure it works. In this function you will: Prepare, review and analyze financial forecasts, operating budgets and strategic plans. Provide in depth analysis on financial performance and root cause variances to forecasts. Perform Business Unit month-end closing procedures, complete account reconciliations, and journal entries. Directly supporting and managing ETE partners. Perform SG&A forecasting by partnering with stakeholders and building out a forecasting process to manage and communicate the forecast. Work collaboratively with the department to propose and implement process improvement ideas to enable more accurate and faster reporting. Analyze Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statements. Will act as financial lead for account reconciliations and coordinate inputs from other departments to ensure compliance and financial oversight of reconciliations. Will consolidate financial inputs for the monthly forecast and weekly reporting from EP plant leadership teams. Minimum of 5 years work experience in Finance and/or Accounting No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of one of the following locations: (Syracuse, NY; Cleveland, OH; Moon Township, PA; Charlotte, NC; or Raleigh, NC) to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: MBA Financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment with background in FP&A and/or Cost Accounting Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) Position Criteria Detail-oriented High level of integrity Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Able to work well with people across multiple functions Ability to communicate/present to senior level managers Requires a strong understanding of standard financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and working knowledge and application of accounting principles and practices #LI-AH2 Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
