Eaton is currently seeking a Lead Finance Compliance Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC facility or can be based remotely. All candidates must currently reside within the United States and must work out of a United States remote location. The Lead Finance Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with finance regulations regarding government standards to include Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS). This position will support proposal activity, billing on cost type contracts, Estimates at Completions (EAC) and project forecasting, project financial reporting as well as assisting with indirect rate calculations. In this function you will: Responsible for key Finance Compliance responsibilities such as billing for cost-type Federal Contracts to include proper supporting documentation and application of indirect rates to allowable expenses. Responsible for Program Financials on cost-type contracts to include budgeting, forecasting, reporting and risk mitigation. Complete cost-type proposals for a variety of end customers utilizing internal estimating files to be converted to customer files that include labor, material, shipping, travel, other direct costs and the proper application of indirect rates. Work with various functions such as Contracts, Program Management Teams, Sales, Estimating, Supply Chain and Purchasing teams to ensure proper back up for proposals, proper accounting and proper application of Federal Regulations. Maintain and provide records for internal and external audits. Assist with calculating and submitting proper indirect rates such as Forward Pricing Rates, Provisional billing rate and incurred cost submissions. Support internal training courses and escalate non-compliances to leadership. Maintain awareness of issues concerning FAR, DFAR, and other government requirements while making recommendations on best practices and risk mitigation. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or Business from an accredited institution Minimum three (3) of experience working in accounting, finance, compliance Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Government Accounting Requirements (FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA, AMS) Prior experience calculating indirect rates in compliance with Federal Regulations for forward pricing rates, incurred cost submissions or provisional billing rates Audit Experience and ability to prepare audit responses Experience in R&D and manufacturing or services environment Excel and ERP System knowledge Why work at Eaton?
