Job Description
Role Summary: This role is integral to the growth strategy for ONW China ( >$0.5B Orders + >$0.3B Revenue). This person will drive transformation, profitability and growth supporting the China Region. You will partner with the China Regional Leader & Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Product Segment Teams, Sales Team, and Global team to support the business initiatives, growth, business strategy, cash, and profitability through effective S&OP, Driving Cost Out and Working Capital Management.
Essential Responsibilities: The ONW GSCM (Global Supply Chain Management) Finance Manager will have direct responsibility to lead the forecasting, tracking, reporting and controllership of Wind China Inventory, Material Variances, and Functional Costs.
o Be responsible for std cost set up. Partner with Finance, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to reduce variation, understand variance drivers, and optimize business results
o Calculate and book the FIFO (First In First Out) inventory revaluations for China business
o Calculate and book SMI (Slow moving inventory Reserve) and drive reductions and VBB (Vendor Bill Back)
o Calculate ICP (Inter company profit elimination) and weekly pacing.
o Responsible for inventory cycle count and partner with GSCM leader to reduce variances.
o Identifying and working on cost optimizing opportunities to deliver better “As Executed” Margin.
o Partner with GSCM leaders to improve productivity; gain full visibility to articulate mfg overhead trending & analytics.
o In charge of CAPEX & provide investment/return analysis as required.
o Drive Industrial Cash Opportunity
o Track progress against Commitment
o Champion cost optimization, project accounting etc.
o Ensure consistent controllership of accounting process across the operations
o AP & Tax & Treasury – Liaison with other functions; serve as focal contact locally.
o Partner with GSCM leader to develop operating mechanism and key metrics

- Manage Oracle ERP processes, and transfer pricing, inter company transactions, and customizations Interface with other Renewables inventory leaders to drive global standardization across major inventory processes
- Establish Rigor of Reporting to align regional leaders and HQ along all the above functions
- Minimum of 10 years of finance / accounting experience
- Experience of managing a highly talented and motivated team
- Knowledge of accounting /regulatory / tax policies and practices
- Excellent analytical skills, Clear thinking / problem solving ability
- Strong leadership skills with ability to support / drive growth initiatives
- Excellent analytical skills including effective written and verbal communication
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organizational skills and planning skills. Energetic, enthusiastic, self-starter
- Clear thinking and communicate messages clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of querying tools (i.e. Hyperion, Brio / IR)
