Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team. This position is based in Raleigh, NC. Position Overview: The Lead Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis and decision support to Service management and function as CPO distribution center finance point of contact, while ensuring the integrity of financial reporting within the guidelines of GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and Eaton Financial Policies/Procedures. Duties involve a variety of accounting and finance functions focused on operational analysis. This role will also support monthly closing and forecasting, and yearly Profit Plan activities. In this function you will: Manage the process of gathering, analyzing and reporting on information used to communicate operating results, sales performance, and ad hoc requests in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that CPS Service Management, CPO distribution center and support functions are receiving critical information needed to perform their jobs. Supports the monthly closing processes for the CPS Service ledger and provides quality, timely, and accurate information for the leadership team and supporting functions. Perform analytics and derive insight from key front-end (e.g., revenue & backlog) and operational metrics. Prepare CPS Service and CPO distribution center variance analysis and commentary following each month-end and rolling forecast. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive policy/process improvements and building proactive reporting tools and analysis. Serves as SAP expert for the CPS Service financial function. Leads ongoing training efforts for finance function to improve team efficiencies. Performs analysis/reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts on a monthly basis. Reviews and resolves variances. Own CPO distribution center inventory related tasks; including variance analysis, E&O review, walk the dock, physical inventory and headcount tracking/forecasting, etc. CPO distribution finance point of contact for battery program, including overtime and productivity reporting. Coordinate CPO distribution center capital spending and lease maintenance/tracking Work in team environment to drive improvement in financial processes through tools/systems, automation, and standardization. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Minimum three years of accounting and/or Finance experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree or MBA Working knowledge of US GAAP CPA/CMA/MBA Experience with SAP, Oracle Financials, Encore, PL Encore, Khalix, Longview and advanced Microsoft skills Past experience in both General Ledger and shared service (AR/AP) accounting Previous consolidations experience preferred Position Criteria: Strong analytical skills; intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability Solid understanding of the US GAAP Strong written and oral communication skills required.
