Eaton’s Commercial and Residential Division is currently seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team. This position is based in Peachtree City, GA. Position Overview: The Lead Financial Analyst will provide accounting, finance, and compliance support for the Wiring Devices (WD) business. The position supports the WD Controller contributing to the areas of financial analysis, forecasting, profit plan, and special projects. The position works collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze and monitor WD’s performance, provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership, and drive profitability improvements in the business. The Lead Financial Analyst communicates these insights within WD as well as to the broader Residential & Wiring Devices (RWD) leadership team. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, process improvement focused, can effectively manage multiple projects/priorities, and demonstrates the drive and people capability to deliver results within a global, growing, and profitable business. An excellent candidate in this position: Supports the month-end closing by preparing gross to net sales analysis and detailed analysis of customer, product line, and contractor mix Ensure accuracy and reliability of results by providing in depth root cause analysis of variances to financial forecasts Supports the Business Unit Controller in building WD’s annual profit plan, aligning its assumptions with key cross-functional stakeholders, and coordinates annual profit plan budgeting process with functional owners Consolidates and challenges regional sales and mix forecasts, profit plans, and flashes Drives Finance Transformation efforts to leverage digital tools to build automated dashboards that provide actionable intelligence to WD’s functional teams and eliminate non-value-added effort to produce manual reports Prepares and analyzes pro forma financials for feasibility of new sales conversions based on input from sales, pricing, and builder teams to ensure profitability objectives are met Consolidates and stress tests monthly/annual sales forecasts and customer profitability analysis with Retail, Distribution, and International sales channel leaders and plant leadership teams Improves financial processes with standardization and automation, with a focus on eliminating repetitive, manual work Works closely with international teams on key deliverables and opportunities for improvement Supports a strong culture of internal controls and compliance with financial policies. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution Three (3) years of financial analysis experience Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Peachtree City, GA Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future Preferred qualifications: Masters in Business Administration Certified Public Accountant Experience supporting multinational manufacturing company SAP, Business Warehouse, data analytics expertise Position Criteria: Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines Ability to communicate/present to senior level executives and non-finance leaders Strong understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and working knowledge and application of accounting principles and practices Demonstrates strong work ethic Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP Strong software and systems skills (SAP, Encore, Power BI) Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly to change Why work at Eaton?
